CHRISTMAS (Moscow region), May 20. The leader of «Fair Russia — For the Truth» Sergei Mironov invited the delegates of the party congress to nominate the current President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin for the presidential elections in 2024.
Earlier, Mironov announced that he would propose to the party congress not to nominate a candidate for the upcoming presidential elections and to support the incumbent president of the country.
«And in this regard, today I am addressing the delegates of our congress with a proposal to nominate Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as president of the Russian Federation in the upcoming elections in 2024,» Mironov said during the plenary session of the congress.
He noted that this proposal will be put to a separate vote later.
XII Congress of the party «Fair Russia — For the Truth» is held in the Moscow region on Saturday.
