A court in Orenburg arrested a detainee for plotting terrorist attacks in Novotroitsk
In Orenburg, the Leninsky District Court arrested a local resident who, according to the FSB, was planning to set fire to a relay protection and automation cabinet on the South Ural Railway. In addition, he intended to set fire to the buildings of the military commissariat of Orsk and the department of the FSB.
The court granted the request of the investigation to place the 26-year-old resident of Novotroitsk in custody until July 21, according to the telegram channel of the court.
< p> Earlier, the FSB announced the detention in the region of a man who planned to carry out the actions listed above. According to the service, after the arson, the suspect «planned to go over to the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine» and participate in hostilities against the RF Armed Forces.
Components for the manufacture of an improvised explosive device were seized from an equipped cache on the outskirts of Novotroitsk. Instructions for making it were found in the means of communication, as well as the telegram correspondence of the detainee with the Ukrainian special services.
