
MOSCOW, May 22. The government will expand support for the development of petrochemical clusters in the Arctic zone, the corresponding road map has been approved, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting.
«On behalf of the head of state, we are expanding support for the development of petrochemical clusters. This primarily applies to the Arctic zone, in close proximity to the resource base,» he said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
Mishustin noted that such a decision will provide a multiplier effect for a number of related industries and will contribute to long-term economic growth.
«The corresponding roadmap has been approved,» the prime minister said.
