
MOSCOW, May 22 Vladimir Zelensky's position in Ukraine rests on support from the West, former Czech diplomat Petr Drulak told Parliamentní listy.
“
“Zelensky is well aware that as soon as Western support for Ukraine weakens, he will be finished,” he explained.
The trip of the head of the Kiev regime to European countries is an attempt to buy time. Zelensky is trying to convince as many wavering leaders as possible that it is still appropriate to sponsor him, the ex-diplomat noted.
Washington, in turn, is increasingly making it clear that Europe should be more actively involved in authorities. The Americans advised Zelensky to convince the Europeans on his own, he suggested.
At the same time, in the United States itself, a group of supporters of a way out of the armed conflict with Russia is gaining strength, concluded Drulak.
