
MOSCOW, May 22. Gazprom Export received a notice from the Finnish company Gasum about the termination of a long-term gas supply contract, and is conducting a legal analysis of further steps, the Russian company.
“Gazprom Export LLC confirms receipt of a notice from the Finnish company Gasum about the termination of a long-term contract for the supply of pipeline gas. The company is conducting a legal analysis of further steps in this matter,” Gazprom Export said in a statement.< br />Gazprom export in April 2022 presented Gasum with a demand that the payments agreed in the supply agreement should be paid in rubles, and not in euros. Gasum did not accept this demand and referred the case to arbitration in Stockholm in accordance with the supply agreement.
Gazprom export stopped pipeline gas supplies to Finland in May 2022, Gasum also has a valid contract for the supply of LNG from Russia .
