MOSCOW, May 22. Creation of the judicial system in the new subjects of Russia — the most important step in the formation of authorities there as a whole, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On Monday the head of state met with Chairman of the Supreme Court Vyacheslav Lebedev. Lebedev, in particular, announced the completion of the competition for the positions of heads of courts in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. He believes that by autumn the judiciary will be formed, and the plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in the new subjects will announce the start of the work of the courts.
«Creation of bodies of the judiciary in the new subjects of the Federation is the most important step in the formation of authorities in these subjects in general. Therefore, I hope that the work will be completed within the time frame that you have just named,» Putin said.
