BRUSSELS, May 23 NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed the decision of a number of NATO countries to start training Ukrainian pilots, did not rule out the supply of aircraft to Kiev in the future.
«In recent days, we have heard announcements from the United States, Great Britain and some EU countries about the start of pilot training for modern Western aircraft. This demonstrates our readiness to be with Ukraine on a long-term basis… I welcome this decision of NATO members, including Germany… This makes it possible to make a decision on future deliveries,» he said before a meeting in Brussels of the heads of the EU defense ministries.
