UFA, May 23. Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev instructed rescuers, together with wildlife experts, to catch moose that began to migrate through the city, creating a danger to citizens and drivers .
Mavliev, during an operational meeting of the city administration, said that there is information about moose that have been running around the city for several days. “The fourth or fifth day on Devletkildeev Boulevard, moose run around. Can you comment somehow? Probably, they were not here, they somehow got here, right?” The mayor asked the rescuers.
Artur Bubnikhin, deputy head of the city's civil defense department, explained that the issue of moose migration has already been discussed with rangers and specialists from the Ministry of Natural Resources of Bashkiria.
«In most cases, moose come from the villages of Upper Dudkino and Dudkino, we will work on the issue, resolve it and not allow it in the future. I agree that the issue of the presence of wild animals on the streets of the city is dangerous. Specialists are on duty, We are evacuating the city,» he said.
Earlier, the BashDTP telegram channel published a video of eyewitnesses who filmed several moose running across a busy avenue and standing in the parking lot of a residential building.
