WASHINGTON May 24 The US is investigating reports that American equipment was used by Ukrainian saboteurs in the attack on the Belgorod region, and they do not approve of using their military assistance to attack Russian territory, the White House said.
«We are studying these reports that American equipment and vehicles may have been involved,» John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator at the US National Security Council, told reporters.
«We have made it very clear, including to Ukrainians, that we do not support the use of American-made equipment for attacks inside Russia,» he added.
