Deputy head of Zelensky's office Zhovkva denied Podolyak's words about the start of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) will launch a counteroffensive only when they receive all the weapons they need from the West. This statement was made by the deputy head of the office of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Igor Zhovkva, refuting the words of Mikhail Podolyak about the start of the offensive.
“We will continue to prepare a counteroffensive. And as soon as we are ready, with the support of our partners who continue to supply us with artillery, enough ammunition, tanks and armored vehicles,” Zhovkva said during an interview with Bloomberg.
Earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been conducting an offensive for several days. He also added that the counteroffensive would not be a «single event».
