MOSCOW, May 25. The next meeting of the Russian-Chinese subcommittee on nuclear issues will be held in Russia in July, Rosatom Director General Alexei told journalists Likhachev.
Earlier, Likhachev met in Beijing with the head of the Chinese Atomic Energy Agency, Zhang Kejian, and they discussed current projects and prospects for cooperation in the field of peaceful atom.
Likhachev announced an agreement reached with his Chinese colleagues to hold a regular meeting of the Russian-Chinese subcommittee on nuclear issues.
“It will be held in July in Russia, where we will consider in detail the entire work plan related to the further expansion of cooperation,” the head of Rosatom specified.
According to him, the meeting will be devoted to Russian-Chinese projects aimed at developing fourth-generation nuclear reactors and developing two-component nuclear energy.
