MOSCOW, May 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin promised during the Eurasian Economic Forum that the EAEU would eventually come to creating chips of 0.7 nanometers.
In his speech at the forum, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko touched upon the issue of industrial and technological cooperation in the EAEU space. He said that during meetings with his Russian colleague, he often discusses the development of microelectronics, remembering chips of 0.7 nanometers.
«We don't have it yet, but let's get to it,» Putin remarked.
Also in his speech, the President of the Russian Federation noted that the EAEU supports initiatives aimed at the development of all of Eurasia. According to the head of state, the Eurasian Union is also pursuing an active policy of expanding friendly ties with other states located in the near abroad, in Asia, with India, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Putin added that the EAEU is developing ties with states that represent «the absolute majority of the world's population and are today the drivers of global economic growth.»
