TOKYO, May 26. Japan, as part of a new sanctions package against Russia in connection with the events in Ukraine, imposes a ban on the provision of construction and engineering services to Russia, it is also expected a ban on the export of a number of goods that contribute to the strengthening of the industrial base of the Russian Federation.
According to a bulletin released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, the details of these bans, including a detailed list of goods subject to export restrictions, will be determined later.
Earlier, Japan banned the export of semiconductors, equipment for oil production, luxury goods (precious stones, expensive alcohol, luxury cars), quantum computers and 3D printers. In addition, the export of vaccines, medical equipment and medicines to Russia was banned.
