MOSCOW, May 25 Russia needs that script the disappearance of Ukraine, in which the people of «the central and some other ownerless regions of Ukraine» will join the Russian Federation, and the conflict will end with guarantees of non-renewal, said Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
Medvedev wrote a post on his telegram channel about how Ukraine will disappear and what are the risks of conflicts. He described three scenarios.
«Third. The same thing happens as in the first case, but with the opposite sign. The western lands of Ukraine join a number of EU countries. The people of the central and some other ownerless regions of Ukraine, within the framework of Article 1 of the UN Charter, immediately declare their self-determination through entry into the Russian Federation. His request is granted and the conflict ends with sufficient guarantees of its non-resumption in the long term,» Medvedev wrote.
«There are simply no other options. And this is already clear to everyone, even if it is unpleasant for someone in the West to admit it. We may be temporarily satisfied with the second option, but we need a third one,» he added.< br>
