BELGOROD, May 28. Craniocerebral injury and mine-explosive injury were diagnosed in children who were injured in the shelling of Shebekino on Saturday, the head physician said Belgorod Regional Children's Hospital Irina Kizilova.
«One teenager was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, brain contusion. The treatment was determined conservatively. The second teenager was diagnosed with a mine-explosive injury. An extensive lacerated wound of the lower leg, primary surgical treatment was carried out,» publishes video with commentary by Kizilova of the operational headquarters of the Belgorod region.
It is noted that the condition of the children during hospitalization was determined as moderate. They are currently being treated in a hospital.
On Saturday, May 27, the city of Shebekino, Belgorod region, was subjected to massive shelling from Ukraine. As a result, one person died and three were injured. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that there were children among the victims — two teenagers: a 15-year-old girl with lower limb injuries and a 17-year-old boy with contusion.
Belgorod region since February 24, 2022 has been repeatedly shelled by Ukraine. A high (yellow) level of terrorist threat has been in effect throughout the Belgorod Region since April 11.
