The Geely Preface four-door (Chinese name — Xingrui) has been in service since 2020 — this is the most prestigious passenger car in the brand's current range. And this is the first sedan directly from the Geely brand, which was based on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform, developed by the Chinese together with Volvo (the Swedish company belongs to Geely). Last year, Preface was slightly modernized, but now it turned out that another updated sedan is being prepared for the debut, only there will be much more improvements: a photo of the test prototype was published by Cheshi.
Judging by the pictures, Geely Preface is going to have a major redesign of the feed. So, the sedan will receive new rear lights — they will be issued in the form of a single plate. Others will be the bumper and trunk lid. The front end is still packed in a rather dense camouflage, but, most likely, it will also be changed — at least we are waiting for other headlights. The dimensions of the transformed «four-door» are unknown. The length of the current model is 4785 mm, width — 1869 mm, height — 1469 mm, wheelbase — 2800 mm.
The interior will be completely redesigned with a new front panel, steering wheel and virtual instrument cluster. In addition, Geely Preface will get another multimedia system — with a large vertical touchscreen, like the fresh Geely Boyue L crossovers (we call its predecessor Atlas Pro) and Boyue Cool.

Chinese specialized media also tipped the sedan a 2.0 petrol “turbo four” from the aforementioned Boyue L: the engine produces 218 hp. and 325 Nm. The current Geely Preface is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with a return of 190 hp. and 300 Nm, it is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. The drive is only front.
The premiere of Geely Preface with a new design can celebrate before the end of this year.
