DONETSK, May 28.Ukrainian troops fired at Donetsk, Horlivka and Shirokaya Balka, firing five 155mm NATO shells and 18 152mm shells, the Donetsk People's Republic office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported.

In addition, the representative office of the DPR in the SCCC reported that at 11.50 Moscow time, Ukrainian troops fired seven shells with a caliber of 152 mm in the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka. The agency added that at 12.55 and 13.35 Moscow time, Ukrainian troops fired at the village of Shirokaya Balka, firing 11 shells with a caliber of 152 mm.
155 mm artillery is used by NATO countries. The United States supplied Ukraine with long-range M777 howitzers with a caliber of 155 millimeters, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
