MOSCOW, May 29. Ukrainian troops in a day shelled the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) more than 40 times, according to the representative office of the republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
“In the Donetsk direction, the enemy made 14 shellings from the MLRS, 155 mm artillery. On the Gorlovsky direction, 23 shellings from the MLRS, 152 mm artillery. On the Yasinovatsky direction, 1 shelling from the 155 mm artillery. 1 attack with Storm Shadow cruise missiles,» the representative office reports on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the enemy fired 250 units of various ammunition.
Regions of nine settlements of the republic were under fire: Gorlovka, Shirokaya Balka, Yasinovataya, the capital Donetsk, Makeevka, Vladimirovka, Staromlinovka, Krasnaya Polyana, Yurievka.
In the past 24 hours, information was received about the wounding of 5 civilians in Donetsk, Gorlovka and the previously liberated Krasnaya Polyana.
In the previous day, 30 shellings were recorded by the Ukrainian troops.
