SIMFEROPOL, May 29. In Crimea, on the seashore near the village of Slavnoe, a corpse of a 19-year-old girl with signs of drowning was found, the Crimean Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports.
«Investigators are checking into the death of a 19-year-old student from Simferopol on the water and the disappearance of her friend,» the report says.
It is established that the girl came to Razdolnensky district to visit her friend.
«The couple went to swim on the Bakal Spit. This place is prohibited for swimming: there are appropriate signs, a barrier in the protected area, dangerous oncoming currents pass here. A tragedy occurred as a result of violation of safety rules by young people,» — the message says.
According to the investigation, the girl's body was found on the seashore in the area of the Slavnovsky rural settlement with signs of drowning in water without signs of violent death.
«The search for her 19-year-old friend is currently ongoing by the operational services,» the department stressed.
