MOSCOW, May 30. Russia knows what measures to take against Ukrainian UAV attacks, » nothing terrible is happening,» said Gleb Babintsev, general director of the Aeronext NTI association.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, this morning Ukraine launched a terrorist attack with drones on objects in Moscow. Eight aircraft-type UAVs were involved: five were shot down from an anti-aircraft gun complex in the Moscow region, three were suppressed by electronic warfare and deviated from their intended targets.
“There is no need to sow any panic here. The two sides of the conflict use different technologies in order to attack and defend. We also do not stand still in this regard, and without getting into the territory of different services, I can say that we understand what is needed to do — what organizational measures and technical measures to take, so nothing terrible is happening,» Babintsev said.
He added that the new Ukrainian canard UAVs that took part in the attack on Moscow could be serial products, judging by the smooth operation of their engine.
