MOSCOW, May 27. American director Quentin Tarantino almost got into a fight with a visitor to a bar in French Cannes because of a chair, writes the British newspaper Mirror, citing a source.
«
«Creator of «Pulp Fiction» almost got into a fight at the Carlton Cannes hotel after trying to take someone else's seat in the lobby bar,» the publication says.
According to the source, Tarantino approached the man and wanted to take the chair from him. The visitor refused to give up his seat, whereupon the director got angry and asked him, «Don't you know who I am?»
Then he tried to take the chair where the man was still sitting. With this, Tarantino attracted the attention of the public, which called on the disputants to arrange a fight. After that, Tarantino gave up and decided to take another seat.
Quentin Tarantino is one of the most famous directors of the 21st century, making his debut in 1992 with Reservoir Dogs. Two years later, he co-wrote, directed and acted in Pulp Fiction, for which he received his first Oscar (Best Screenplay).
