SIMFEROPOL, May 29. State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet called the US default talks a well-staged show and a political game.
US President Joe Biden said earlier that he had reached a budget agreement with the speaker of the US House of Representatives, Republican Kevin McCarthy, which would avoid default in the country.
“Talking about a default in the USA is just a well-staged show and a kind of political game. In principle, there can be no default in America, since they have long been bankrupt and all their paper dollar mass, which today has become completely digital, is an ordinary soap bubble, which has not been backed by anything for a long time. All dollar liquidity rests solely on political intrigues and bayonets of the American army,» Sheremet said.
According to him, Washington, planting the whole world and hiding behind a mythical democracy, first of all, solves its economic interests.
“Today, the United States is like a parasitic plant. At the expense of others, it maintains the liquidity of the dollar supply and, thanks to its speculative political and military manipulations, every time, against all odds, comes out dry, patching up its big holes in a patchwork economy bursting at the seams” , — the deputy emphasized.
A default in the US, according to the deputy, will come only if the chain of donor states that feed the American economy is interrupted.
“Oddly enough, such a donor is a territory thousands of kilometers away from them, for example, the ill-fated Ukraine. They unleashed a war there by deceit, bribery and flattery and earn enormous fortunes on this,” the deputy said.
