Journalist Tatyana Felgenhauer was fined 30,000 rubles due to the absence of a “foreign agent” marking in her publications

The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow fined journalist Tatiana Felgenhauer (Shadrina) 30,000 rubles for not having a «foreign agent» badge (part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The journalist herself told about this to Mediazona.

The Ministry of Justice entered her into the register of “foreign agents” in October 2022. At the same time, the co-host of journalist Alexander Plushev, producer Alexander Rodnyansky and writer Mikhail Zygar were included in the list. All of them have Ukraine in the column of information about foreign funding, Plushev and Felgenhauer also have Germany.

The protocol was drawn up because of the February stream on the Felgenhauer YouTube channel with the CEO of Transparency International Russia Ilya Shumanov, dedicated to ways to circumvent sanctions by Russian billionaires. Shumanov himself was included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of «foreign agents» on the same day as the journalist.

Over the past month, protocols under part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses were filed against the singer Monetochka (Elizaveta Gyrdymova), the musician Noize MC (Ivan Alekseev) , presenter Tatyana Lazareva, sociologist Viktor Vakhshtein, Alisher Morgenstern, libertarian Mikhail Svetov, as well as writer Dmitry Glukhovsky, deputy Daria Besedina and historian Tamara Eidelman.
