MOSCOW, May 28 Connecting blockchain encryption keys preliminary voting «United Russia» was held in the Central Executive Committee of the party, reports a correspondent.
Earlier, the key was divided into four parts and handed over for safekeeping to Senator Alexander Karelin, President of Rostelecom PJSC Mikhail Oseevsky, State Duma Deputy Alena Arshinova, Deputy Secretary of the United Russia General Council Sergei Perminov.
United Russia conducts preliminary voting in electronic format throughout the country from May 22 to May 28 before the elections on a single voting day. To organize the procedure, the party deployed 25,000 counting stations. In total, more than three million people were registered as electors, which accounted for 10% of the total number of voters in the regions where elections will be held in the fall.
Elections in Russia will be held on a single voting day on 10 September. According to Deputy Secretary of the United Russia General Council Sergei Perminov, a total of 3,500 mandates will be filled in 55 regions of the country. The total number of applications for preliminary voting amounted to more than 16.7 thousand people, and the average competition for legislative assemblies is 7.5 candidates per seat, for administrative centers — 5.5 people per seat.
Edinaya Rossiya's preliminary voting in the 2022 elections took place from May 23 to May 29.
