Hungary proposed to the EU to limit the import of Ukrainian grain to five countries

BUDAPEST, May 31. Hungary has proposed to the EU to extend restrictions on Ukrainian grain imports to five Eastern European countries until the end of 2023, the country's agriculture ministry said.< br />«Hungary has taken the initiative to have the EU extend the import ban granted to five Eastern European countries affected by grain dumping until at least the end of the year,» the ministry said.
According to the ministry, this measure will allow to transport grain from Ukraine during the harvest season, «without directly overloading the market of these countries.»
