MAGADAN, June 1 At a meeting on the organization of children's recreation on Thursday, the Governor of the Magadan region, Sergei Nosov, was indignant at the high cost of air tickets from Magadan to Vladivostok and Khabarovsk and instructed to sort it out in reasons.
Tickets Magadan-Khabarovsk-Magadan now cost about 30 thousand rubles. The fare for a flight to Vladivostok is even more expensive. At the same time, a circular flight to Moscow costs Magadans 25,000 rubles.
«I also instructed to sort out the cost of air tickets to Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. We found out that the Ministry for the Development of the Far East subsidized Aurora» in order to reduce the cost of the ticket, but at the same time the company sold at prices as if there were no subsidies,» Nosov said.
According to him, expensive tickets to the neighboring Far Eastern regions will also affect the organization of children's recreation within the region, since residents of different cities work as counselors in Magadan's children's camps.
“This week, figure it out, prepare a note on the basis of which we will act. Students from different regions of the country work for us at Northern Artek. And it’s more expensive to fly here from Khabarovsk than from St. Petersburg,” — Nosov was indignant.
