NIZHNY NOVGOROD, June 1 Russian industry will have to switch to domestic hardware in the future, and it will not work without Russian software, the prime minister said Russian Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
«The next frontier is the transition to domestic hardware, which is more complicated. And it obviously won't work without Russian software,» he said, speaking on Thursday at the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia forum in Nizhny Novgorod.
The prime minister stressed that it is necessary to form an actual landscape of IT products.
Mishustin recalled that in December last year, in order to monitor the work on software import substitution, the government signed a number of agreements with state corporations on the development of high-tech areas.
«So-called road maps have been formed for each of these documents. They include all the necessary measures, the implementation of which will allow, by reducing the number of foreign decisions in key sectors of the economy, to increase the share of domestic ones. And by the end of the decade, to achieve 90 percent replacement» , he emphasized. » data-title='The Cabinet of Ministers may purchase up to two million devices at Aurora'>
