NIZHNY NOVGOROD, May 31.The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Russia proposed to create a concept for working with artificial intelligence, which would complement the decisions planned as part of the national strategy for the development of artificial intelligence until 2030, said Deputy Minister Grigory Borisenko.
«It seems to us that an additional task in the framework of the development of artificial intelligence technology is the creation of such a large toolkit, a set of competencies, tools and technologies that would allow all participants in the process to draw resources, competencies and technologies from there in order to go through the life cycle of setting tasks and obtaining the end result of the implemented solution, and not stop on this path,» Borisenko said during his speech at the CIPR-2023 conference.
He noted that in order to create such a «box with tools» a concept is proposed, which, for example, can be called «a state concept on artificial intelligence.»
«This is not a new system that we are going to design. This is an approach to linking all currently implemented initiatives. This is an approach to ensure that those ongoing projects that are currently being implemented leave artifacts and prepared the basis for the implementation of related initiatives,» Borisenko explained.
According to him, the creation of such a platform solves, among other things, most of the tasks that are announced as part of the strategy for the development of artificial intelligence. «Such a platform will complement those decisions that are planned as part of the strategy,» he said.
In October 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the national strategy for the development of artificial intelligence until 2030.
