WASHINGTON, May 31. Volodymyr Zelensky assured the United States that he shares Washington's concerns about attacks on Russian territory, White House strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said Wednesday.
«Zelensky himself gave us assurances that they respect the concern. They understand,» he told reporters when asked if the United States had conveyed to Kiev its position regarding the attacks on Russian territory.
Kirby emphasized that Washington «clearly communicated to the Ukrainians» its position on this issue.
Earlier, Kirby said that the United States wants to avoid a third world war, so they allegedly oppose Ukraine's strikes on Russian territory.
