A resident of Magadan was fined in the case of «discrediting» the army for a comment insulting the military and the words «stupidity is Russia»

The Magadan City Court fined local resident Valeria Timoshenko 30,000 rubles for a comment critical of the Russian military. This was reported on the website of the court.

She was found guilty of «discrediting» the Russian army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason for the administrative case was Tymoshenko's comment on the news published in the Nestka community on VKontakte on November 11. The post talked about the capture of the Ukrainian village of Pavlovka by the Russian military — in the comments, a resident of Magadan wrote: “Bastards, so many people were killed for the sake of one village?! Although it’s me, stupidity is Russia.”

The press service of the court also reports that later Tymoshenko was again prosecuted under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses “for committing a homogeneous administrative offense” and fined her 30,000 rubles. What became the reason for the second case is not yet known.
