The deadlines are supposed to be postponed by five months
Parliamentarians of the Republic of Bashkortostan proposed to postpone the deadlines for paying local taxes by individuals. On Wednesday, May 31, the regional kurultai submitted a relevant bill to the State Duma.
Deputies of the State Assembly of the Republic propose to postpone the payment of property taxes by individuals by almost six months. In accordance with the current norms, this tax must be paid before December 1, while the Bashkir deputies believe that the deadline should be postponed to July 1. According to the Association «Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Bashkortostan», these taxes have a specific weight in the budgets of rural settlements (last year — 40%). The fact that the money goes to the treasury only at the end of the year has a negative impact on the execution of budgets. This, the deputies note, may, in particular, affect the financing of socially significant and priority events carried out by local authorities.
Parliamentarians believe that the innovation will have a positive impact on the financial stability of not only local, but also regional budgets, will lead to their uniform filling.
