MOSCOW, June 2. The United States has tested an app in Ukraine that allegedly allows residents to report on «Russian-friendly» neighbors in order to get rid of them, American journalist Clayton Morris said on the Redacted News show.
«
«Diia, a super app, which of course is part of the Google and Visa program and is sponsored by USAID and your tax money, to make sure that all Ukrainians and their banking data are monitored and that they can even report to their neighbors if it seems to them that they sympathize with Russia,» the presenter said.
According to him, this application allegedly allows you to eliminate a person «at the touch of a button.» Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, however, called the app «a state in a smartphone» and «Ukraine's heartbeat.»
The head of the US agency for international development USAID, Samantha Power, said that with the help of Diia (Ukrainian — «Diya»), Ukraine is able to overcome corruption, since with the help of it the money sent to Kiev by the West allegedly goes directly to the accounts of state employees. Morris, in turn, questioned the statement of the head of USAID, calling this enterprise a way to launder money, since the United States gave the Ukrainian government $50 million for this enterprise.
In addition, the reviewer expressed concern about the further distribution of the application. According to USAID representatives, the launch of similar widgets for smartphones is also planned in some African countries, while Ukraine, destabilized by the United States, has become just a «Petri dish» for testing the service. telephones and a website that allows citizens of Ukraine to convert their document flow into electronic format and receive various certificates online.
