Retired GRU Colonel Vladimir Kvachkov, Candidate of Military Sciences, said during one of his speeches that Ukraine had already launched the promised counteroffensive. The corresponding video was shown on the Roy TV channel.
«The Ukrov counteroffensive has already begun. It began with strategic reconnaissance in combat,» Kvachkov said, recalling that the Armed Forces of Ukraine also acted in the steppes near Kherson, looking for a weak point and instantly gathering forces for a breakthrough, and then dispersing.
Kvachkov explained that the Ukrainian command cannot keep troops and equipment in one place for a long time if Russia has reconnaissance assets. According to him, the direct offensive can begin at any time. «They will find a weak spot, collect and lead into the breakthrough the reserves that have been prepared for six months,» the colonel expressed his opinion.
He noted that it is impossible to predict where the breakthrough will be. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that this plan may fail in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
