MOSCOW, Jun 1 Kim Cattrall will return as Samantha in the season 2 finale of «And Just Like That,» the sequel to «Sex and the City,» according to Variety.
The actress will appear in just one scene. Filming took place on March 22. At the same time, Kim did not intersect with any of the other stars of the series, as well as its showrunner Michael Patrick King.
According to media reports, in the episode, Samantha, who moved from New York to London, speaks on the phone with Kerry Bradshaw. She was designed by Sex and the City costume designer Patricia Field, who did not take part in the creation of the sequel.
In 2016, Cattrall announced that she would no longer play Samantha. The actress was disappointed with the script of the third feature film about the heroines of the cult show. Kim also said that she was not invited to join the restart of the project. There are also rumors on the Web about her conflict with Sarah Jessica Parker.
According to Variety, one of the leaders of HBO Casey Bloys during the filming of the second season of «And just like that» still turned to Cattrall and asked her to return to the project. This influenced the decision of the actress to re-embody the image of Samantha.
