NIZHNY NOVGOROD, Jun 1< /strong> Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin during his visit to the conference «Digital Industry of Industrial Russia» (CIPR) became interested in a Russian development — a tablet computer and asked to give him a sample of it when it completely — inside and out — becomes Russian.
The Kvadra_T tablet was demonstrated to the head of government at the stand of the Yadro company (KNS Group LLC).
Mishustin held the tablet in his hands, noting that, compared to foreign counterparts, it is «a little heavier, but the trouble has begun.» In response, the manufacturers demonstrated the anti-shock characteristics of the device to the head of government by throwing it on the floor in a big way.
The tablet was named Kvadra_T — «Malevich's Square».
As the company's executives told Mishustin, next year the tablet will be produced on a domestic processor, «everything else in it is already Russian.»
Mishustin asked him to show the finished copy.
The head of government also received an invitation from the leadership of Yadro Group of Companies to visit their enterprise in the Dubna special economic zone, where a full-cycle plant for the production of equipment for computing and data processing is planned to be opened in October. Mishustin accepted the invitation.
Moreover, the prime minister of the Russian Federation visited the booth of Iksplanet.ru LLC, where he was presented with domestic developments of digital algorithms for supply chain management. The project involves Russian Post, which aims to first use these developments to improve the efficiency of its own work, and then spread the use of this digital platform to bring other businesses to the market.
Mishustin supported this action plan of Russian Post, noting that the introduction of this digital platform will allow the company to take its «unique place» in the domestic business environment.
Also, the head of the government of the Russian Federation was shown a number of developments of Belarusian colleagues. Mishustin was especially interested in the mechanism developed by Belarusians for boarding people with disabilities in a car, including disabled drivers.
Mishustin proposed to show this development in early June in Sochi, where a series of events within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union will be held. He also asked the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, together with Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, to work out a mechanism for providing such devices through the Social Insurance Fund, given that they will significantly increase the involvement of people with disabilities in the economy.
Mishustin urged to actively implement the results of domestic developments.
Ambassador of Belarus to the Russian Federation Dmitry Krutoy attended the presentation of the mechanism.
