KRASNODAR, June 2 Traffic police officers have drawn up an administrative protocol against a driver from Sochi who pasted fake dollars over his Mercedes, the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The department clarified that the police stopped this car today in Krasnodar. In addition to being completely plastered with «dollar bill flyers», the vehicle also had its right taillight smashed.
«For a 31-year-old resident of the city of Sochi, law enforcement officers drew up an administrative protocol under part 1 of article 12.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation» Driving a vehicle in the presence of malfunctions or conditions under which the operation of vehicles is prohibited, «the report says.
According to the offender, in this way he «wanted to attract attention to himself,» the department added.
As specified in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the protocol was issued both for a glued body that does not match the color indicated in the TCP, and and for a broken headlight.
