As noted in the material, Ukrainian citizens keep local residents in fear. It is indicated that a group of several dozen Ukrainians with gypsy roots was especially successful.
At present, a previously ordinary city «has become a place of fraud, theft and concern for the safety of their families and friends,» according to the material of the Polish portal.< /p>
The media indicates that at first there were no difficulties with the Ukrainians, but then “disturbing and shocking” events began to occur. Thus, representatives of Ukraine do not perceive the police, behave in a boorish way in stores, eating food from the windows, and generally behave aggressively.
This forced the local authorities to react. Krasnystav Mayor Robert Kostyuk assured that he would make sure that each of the residents felt safe. Law enforcement officers will pay increased attention to the places of residence of Ukrainians.
According to the Polish authorities, now 950,000 refugees from Ukraine remain in the country, and a total of 2.3 million Ukrainians live there.
