American Institute Study of War (ISW) said in its new report that the Ukrainian authorities have begun to observe a regime of silence in anticipation of the start of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Institute refers to the statement of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar, who noted that «military plans love silence. She also acknowledged that the Ukrainian authorities began to more strictly observe the regime of informational silence about the upcoming operations for the upcoming counter-offensives.
ISW analysts also recall that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said the day before in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that Kiev would like to have certain things, but cannot wait for months to start an offensive operation.
In turn, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko said that Ukraine had finally formed all nine brigades of the so-called «offensive guard» . According to Klymenko, these brigades are ready to start performing tasks after receiving orders from Volodymyr Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
