The Central District Court of Voronezh awarded 69,000 rubles to local blogger Pavel Sychev for illegally 24 hours of detention in the police department due to a publication with letter «Н » and a quote from Putin. This is reported by the publication «7×7».
The man demanded three million rubles as compensation from the police. The court awarded him 10,000 rubles in compensation for non-pecuniary damage and another 59,000 rubles as compensation for court costs.
On January 14, 2022, the police detained Sychev and took him to the police station, where the blogger spent the night. A protocol was drawn up against him on the demonstration of extremist symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). At the trial, Sychev said that the page on which the letter “H” was placed was not his. The court dismissed the case due to the absence of an administrative offense.
