WASHINGTON, Jun 5 Apple will allow users of their phones to exchange numbers by simply holding the devices to each other and solve the problem of annoying many audio messages that will now be automatically converted to text.
These and a number of other features will be included in the 17th update of the iOS operating system announced by Apple.
With the help of NameDrop, iPhone users will be able to exchange numbers and other contact information — for this it will be enough to bring the phones to each other. The voice assistant can now be activated by saying Siri instead of the previous Hey Siri.
Messenger will be equipped with a function to decrypt voice messages, as well as a Check-In feature that allows you to notify relatives and friends in a couple of clicks that the user has safely reached their destination. Emoji stickers can now be zoomed in and rotated, and any image can be turned into a sticker, including animated ones.
The Live Voicemail feature allows you to view the transcription of a voice message left by a caller from an unknown number in real time, and quickly decide whether to pick up the phone.
Apple also introduced updates for the operating systems of its tablets and computers, promising in particular faster performance with games.
