MOSCOW, 5 Jun. Polish senior military officials believe that the Ukrainian army will not have enough strength for a successful offensive, columnists for the American newspaper Military Watch Magazine write.
“Unlike political leaders, Polish military leaders have repeatedly expressed serious doubts about the ability of Ukraine and its allies to win the ongoing conflict with Russia,» the article says.
Nevertheless, Warsaw is actively helping Kiev and sending military personnel to the territory of a neighboring state for joint operations against Russia, the columnists recalled.
Earlier, ex- Adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, announced 20,000 Polish mercenaries in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the officer, many of them died in battle.
