Deputy Editor-in-Chief of German Bild Paul Ronzheimer published on the publication's website a video interview that he took with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on June 7, the day after reports of the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.
«I've never seen Zelensky like this before,» the German journalist said, noting extreme exhaustion of the Ukrainian leader.
According to Ronzheimer, Zelensky admitted to him that he sleeps only two hours a day and often has to get up at night due to breaking news like the Kakhovka disaster.
«He has been on duty around the clock since the beginning of the war, and he has almost no time left for his wife and two children,» the journalist added.
Ronzheimer also noted that Zelensky changed several times during the interview and seemed to him » completely exhausted», then «waking up again», and sometimes «funny».
