Krapivnik told how long the Ukrainian «offensive» will last and what will happen after
Despite the fierce battles that have been going on every day for the fifth day along the entire line of contact, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not been able to break through the tactical zone of the first echelon of our defense. According to Stanislav Krapivnik, a former US military personnel, the fighting will continue for another week, and then the enemy army will stop waiting for replenishment and regrouping.
Heavy fighting in the Zaporozhye direction has been going on for the fifth day. It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian command relies on attacks at night. So, on the night of June 9, the enemy, after regrouping, again tried to break through our defenses, persistently striking at the same places. Such tactics of the enemy were noted on the Rabotino-Verbovoye sector, where heavy fighting is taking place.
Up to four columns of armored vehicles were brought into battle by the enemy. AFU fire at our positions, and then storm them. This is happening near Orekhov, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are counting on breaking through our defenses in the Rabotino-Verbove area. The attack was repulsed, but closer to the morning the enemy resumed attacks on Rabotino on Leopard tanks and Bradley combat vehicles.
Our fighters destroyed one Leopard tank and three Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, driving the enemy forces back to their original lines.
At the Kamensky Armed Forces, they tried to dig in the village of Lobkove, pulling up armored vehicles there. The Russian reconnaissance group discovered the enemy's concentration and called for fire on it. The enemy retreated, and Lobkove itself again found itself in the «gray zone».
“Our gunners and aviation, infantry, special forces, scouts work great for us — people of steel!” — wrote war correspondent Andrei Rudenko.
Our aviation was especially active in the Zaporozhye direction at night. The fighters who participated in the night battles noted that helicopters flew to the line of contact one after another.
At the same time, the fighters noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine adhere to certain combat tactics, carefully probing our capabilities. So, the enemy drives up to the line of contact, then drives off or rides along the landings, forcing us to use up ammunition at full power. But as soon as there is a pause for reloading ammunition and the density of fire decreases, the Armed Forces of Ukraine go on the assault.
This, in a sense, is reconnaissance in force, the fighter told military commissar Dmitry Steshin. According to him, the enemy is thus “trying to calculate how much our ammunition, if it runs out, will go directly” to the line of contact. “Those offensive waves that are now underway, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to find not so much gaps in the defense as to find weaknesses in our supply logistics. At the moment when we are conditionally empty, when we are reloading, they will try to go on the main assault, ”the fighter says.
Nevertheless, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer serious losses both in manpower and military equipment. On the evening of June 8, one could talk about at least a hundred units of destroyed military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Another source clarifies that in total during the entire period of the Ukrainian offensive, the enemy lost more than three hundred tanks and armored vehicles, at least fifty guns and self-propelled artillery installations, and up to 3.5 thousand irretrievable losses in manpower.
Channel » Militarist”, referring to Turkish sources, notes that since June 4, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to about 7 thousand people. At the same time, most Ukrainian soldiers die on minefields, during artillery shelling, “and often even at the stage of advancing to the line of attack.”
The 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered heavy losses near Orekhovo. Over the past few months, its contingent has been trained in NATO countries and equipped with Western weapons, including approximately 50 American M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, 28 Slovenian M-55S tanks and Panthera T6 armored vehicles.
At the same time, those at the front the fighters claim that the enemy has not yet introduced the main breakthrough forces — large NATO-style tank forces. Only in the vicinity of Orekhovo, by the way, there are about six hundred of them.
According to a military expert, former officer of the American army Stanislav Krapivnik, the enemy is now conducting reconnaissance in combat along the entire front, and not at full strength.
-Only three or four brigades are thrown into battle in the Zaporozhye direction, — he said. — This is not a multi-layered offensive that tries to gain a foothold in the first positions, and then receives fresh reinforcements …
At the same time, the enemy now has about 20 brigades in reserve, which have been assembled for almost nine months. Half of them are territorial defense, the rest are soldiers with combat experience trained in NATO countries. But they don't attack. The enemy does not abandon this main force of his. This suggests that he will not quit. Because it would be reasonable for the enemy to leave reserves and use them as a force in our offensive to cover their holes.
I think that they will throw their people into battle for another week, and then they will stop and wait for our offensive, which, I hope, will be multi-frontal and will finally break them.
At the same time, the military expert noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, retreating from the Donbass, can carry out a number of terrorist actions already on our territory:
— When they start to retreat from the Donbass, they will destroy everything behind them — power plants, dams, tunnels, mines … According to the principle — so don't get you to anyone.
Meanwhile, the Russian Aerospace Forces worked on the distant rear of the enemy. Our missiles and kamikaze drones were spotted over Zaporizhia, as well as over Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Nikolaev, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr regions.
Our goal was warehouses with ammunition and equipment, as well as air defense systems and manpower enemy.
It is not easy to find out about the results of strikes — in Ukraine it is forbidden to photograph and film arrivals. Nevertheless, one extremely successful hit nevertheless became known. So, as a result of an accurate strike, a warehouse in Uman, Cherkasy region, was destroyed, which stored entire arsenals of Western missiles, artillery and tank shells, and ammunition that were supposed to get to the first front line.
