MOSCOW, June 11 Forest fire services in Russia extinguished 92 wildfires in a day, Avialesookhrana reports.
«According to the information of the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, 06/10/2023, in 24 regions of Russia, forest fire services and involved persons liquidated 92 forest fires on an area covered by fire, 4141 hectares,» the report says.
By midnight on June 11, there were 101 forest fires in the country on an area of 26,178 hectares, which were actively extinguished.
The largest area of fires was recorded in the Altai Territory — there is one fire on an area of 8194 hectares.
