MOSCOW, June 8. Filmmaker Konstantin Bogomolov said he received mixed reactions to his article about the Russian elite «Dietary grief», published on the website. He spoke about this at the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Theater on Bronnaya and the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
«I get a wide response from different people: both my circle and strangers who come up and just say thank you. The other day I was at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, theater employees who do not go on stage said good words to me. The article was written and thanks , and thanks to Dmitry Kiselev. I was worried, because I did not fully understand how much society needed it. Now it is important to continue: I am preparing a second article, and then there will be more, «said the artistic director.
As the director noted, with his work he wanted to make readers think.
«The text was designed to stir up, create discomfort in those people to whom it was directed,» Bogomolov explained .
The artistic director also noted that the theater cannot exist separately from society.
«
“It is important for us to live together with society and breathe the same air with it. And it is important to give people energy, strength and a cultural, valuable foundation in order to move forward. The theater cannot be separated from what is happening behind its walls,” he emphasized.
