On Sunday, June 11, a strong fire broke out at the Rostselmash plant in Rostov-on-Don. According to the residents of the city, a column of black smoke is visible from all areas.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said that tires had caught fire on an area of 80 square meters. The fire was assigned an increased rank of complexity.
There were no reports of casualties.
Two hours after the fire was reported, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Rostov Region was told that open combustion on the territory of the plant has been eliminated.
