On Sunday, the ISU announced that the board of the organization decided to study the feasibility of implementing the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on the admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete in a neutral status at competitions. At the moment, the ISU Council upheld the removal of Russians and Belarusians.
“I was waiting for a decision, that's all. There is no point in hoping. I have no time to think about it, I am preparing athletes for the next season, which we continue to do,” said Moskvina.
Earlier, the ISU released data showing that sanctions against Russia and Belarus led to an almost complete absence of advertising and media rights revenue in 2022.
