On May 30, the newspaper notes, the SPIEF group on VKontakte reported that the headliner of the concert on Palace Square would be «The Animals». Yury Kot, Dean of the Faculty of Media Communications of the Moscow State Institute of Culture, spoke out against the group's performance.
Roma Zver (in life Roman Bilyk) publicly condemned her on social networks, then, together with the team, began to be active on the topic “for peace at any cost against a special operation,” wrote Kot on his blog on Yandex.Zen.
Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Konstantin Chebykin also asked to ban musicians from performing at the festival as part of the forum. In his opinion, the «Beasts» concert «can be characterized by the public as an insult to all those who today, risking their lives, ensure the security of the interests of Russia and its population.»
