MOSCOW, June 12 Forest fire services in Russia put out 82 natural fires on an area of more than nine thousand hectares in a day, Avialesookhrana reports in its telegram -channel.
«According to the information of the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past 24 hours on June 11, 2023, in 28 regions of Russia, forest fire services and involved persons extinguished 82 forest fires on an area covered by fire, 9940 hectares,» the report says.
By midnight on June 12, there were 92 forest fires in Russia on an area of 17,938 hectares, which were actively extinguished. The largest area of fires was recorded in the Altai Territory — there is one fire on an area of 8194 hectares.
