The new head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry spoke on the phone with Lavrov for the first time

ISTANBUL, June 9 on Friday, the first telephone conversation with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
«Today (June 9), Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Lavrov congratulated Minister Fidan on his new appointment,» the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
This is the first conversation between ministers.
